The Greenville Society for Human Resource Management (GSHRM) was founded in 1947. Since its start, GSHRM has played a key role in helping Human Resource professionals increase their knowledge and skills in the Human Resource arena. Our members roles range from Human Resource Assistant to Vice President of Human Resources. Members are constantly networking to gain additional skills and knowledge.
Members are encouraged to join the Society for Human Resource Management, based in Alexandria, Virginia. SHRM is the leading voice of the Human Resource professional, representing more than 225,000 professional and student members in more than 125 countries. SHRM provides education and information services, conferences and seminars, government and media representation, and publications that equip Human Resource professionals to become leaders and decision-makers within their organizations.
Through professional services, monthly meetings, and professional accreditation support, GSHRM members are recognized as leaders in their profession. There are nearly 300 members representing a variety of employers in the Greenville area. In addition, a large number of our members are SHRM members, and many have their PHR or SPHR certification.
